Circus of Illusion to play at QPAC in April!

Welcome to the spectacular world of sequins, sawdust and magic – Circus of Illusion, playing April 11 and 12 in the Concert Hall at QPAC. It is a spectacle of death defying escapes, illusions, mime and magic, as well as the incredible costumes, and world-class artists from Queensland!

Celebrated Ringmaster Ebon Grayman (pictured) will keep audiences captivated with his expressive and eccentric character comedy. He enthralled audiences all over the world as part of Cirque du Soleil’s famed Alegria.

The Temple University graduate stunned as the show’s principal character Monsieur Fleur until 2003, when he went on to perform in another Cirque du Soleil show, Humanity, where he held the role of Half Man/Half Beast “The Faun”, as well as an aerialist.

Acclaimed illusionist and Australia’s Got Talent finalist Michael Boyd will present death-defying escapes and ingenious illusions.

Also starring is a duo from Perth. Cameo Rascale is an internationally acclaimed acrobatic, comedy and juggling act. In 2009 the family acrobatic act made it through to the Grand Final of Australia’s Got Talent, with the talented duo of James Capener and Rebecca Borromei bringing a new dynamic of exciting skills to the stage.
